GDPR: Are you prepared?

25th April 2018 at 14:30am BST

  • This interactive livestreamed webinar will explore GDPR and what it means for you.

On the 25th May GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into effect, and will require significant changes to the way retailers collect, store, and use data. Failure to be ready could have major ramifications for businesses.

    Are you prepared?

Data breaches that impact customers will have to be reported to the Information Commissioners Officer (ICO), ideally within 72 hours, and failure to comply with these regulations will result in fines of up to 4% of a retailer’s global revenue, or £17m, whichever is more.

GDPR also has implications for how retailers manage employee data such as payroll information, however, a recent GDPR survey by Sage found that 34% of businesses lack confidence they will be compliant by May 2018.

Register now for our livestreaming on April 25 where you will be able to ask our expert panel questions, and:
